Awards In Rovers

Throughout a Rover’s time in the section they have to chance to recieve many awards. Some of the most prestigious are known as the Baden-Powell award and the W.F. Waters award. The Baden powell award is the peak award of the Rovers section. This award requires an enormous amount of time and effort spent working through the award scheme at the highest standards and is typically earned towards to end of a Rover’s journey as it is designed to be worked on throughout the entire 8 years in the section. The W.F. Waters award is presented to Rovers and Rover Advisors who have contributed to Victorian Rovering over a number of years and provided outstanding service to the section.

Over the years Keith Farquhar Rover Crew has had eleven members be awarded the W.F .Waters award and seven members be awarded the Baden Powell award.
